V1.0 “Warfare”

What’s new:
- Regiments Cultural Feature – every regiment has its place of origin, and now you will see every culture of your armies on the battlefield!
- Commander Traits – each commander trait will bring advantages to the battlefield!
- AI-controlled Armies – your allies’ troops won’t just be added to yours; instead, you can let the AI handle them.
- Control your army on allied battles – if you join an ongoing allied battle you will be able to control your army on the battlefield!
- 100% Accurate Battle Results – a new battle results system that is 100% accurate for each regiment and army!
- Impactful Battles – armies take 3x times more time to replenish and one huge battle can be enough to win a war.
- Integrated Attila Mod Manager – the mod now loads the required mods automatically and you can enable all of the other optional mods you want in the options menu!
- As Seamless as Possible: Attila launches on its own with the required mods for the battle and now the mod compresses the battle results save file making the loading speeds way more faster!
- Language Support – support for all official and mods languages.
- Achievements Compatible – the mod is now achievements compatible!
- Improved Updater – now there is an updater for the unit mappers and one for the launcher.

General Changes:
- A new loading screen for the ModCon 2024.
- Full compatibility for the MK1212 update.
- Removed MK1212 new units submod from the required mods.
Unit Mappers changes:
- Full revamp for most Central Germanic factions
- Full revamp for Mongols – now all of their levies are cavalry (you’ll have to specifically recruit infantry just like the mongols did!)
- Full revamp for Iranian/Daylamite/Kurdish/Turko-Persian etc. rosters. and LoP cultural MAA -Full Scottish T2 and T3 revamp using Flemish units to fill gaps in roster.
- Full T1 Roman (Latin) revamp with new Latin Empire units.
- All Factions now have a different unit for their “Knights” than their “General”, allowing new CW unit renaming feature.

What’s new:
- Every regiment kills and alive soldiers is now accurately translated into the CK3 after battle results pop-up.
- Attila Unit Cards names are now their CK3 regiment name.
- Dynamic battle map sizes, depending on the total of soldiers in the battlefield.
- CK3 battle details are now shown in the Attila UI, this includes, terrain, weather, snow, battle name & combat side.
- CK3 now has tooltips information about the mod.
- A new loading screen between CK3 and Attila.
- A new Unit Mapper for the Attila Mod “Fireforged Empire”, to be used with CK3 mod “The Fallen Eagle”!
Unit Mappers:
- -Added Compatability for new Cultures and Heritages added by Legends of the Dead DLC and patch.
- Changed a number of “Knight” unit assignments to differentiate them from “General” units.
- Various Bug/Crash fixes.
- Added Compatability for Buffed Mongol Invasion Mod.
- Changed Syriac culture and Aramean heritage to “Armenian” Faction (from Arabic).
Balance:
- Accolades now only get 4 soldiers in the Knight’s Unit instead of 7.
Miscellaneous:
- Attila Unit Size settings is now automatically set to ULTRA, so no more need for the user to set it manually (one less installation step).

V0.9.10 “Accolades” Pre-Beta

New features:
- Accolades System, they now have an important role on the battlefield, they give the most amount of soldiers (7 soldiers) to the knights unit and each one of their accolade attributes and rank have a special ability to the unit! (60 new special abilities created by us).
- Reworked Commander System, commanders prowess, rank,martial & some court positions will now affect the strenght of the commanders unit!
- Reworked Knights System, now each knight contributes an amount of soldiers to their unit based on their prowess & martial skill improves the XP level.
- Reworked battle scales options, now scalling battles sizes should be extremely precise!
UI changes:
- Reworked Options Menu, a more attractive UI and easier navigation to alter the options of the mod with new options for a better user experience!
Bugs fixed:
- Reduzed chances of characters getting cut limbs after battles.
- Removed the Red/Orange atmostphere that looked like you’re fighting in Mars.
Compatibility:
- Fixed compatibility with latest TFE update “The Last of the Romans“.

Unit Mappers Patchs Notes:
- New Legacy of Persia DLC units mapped for all time periods.
- House guard units fixed.
- Missing retinue crossbowmen mapped for all cultures and time periods.
- Cultures Expanded mod reimplemented for Early and Renaissance periods.
- Changed Cataphracts MAA to hybrid cav in all periods (Clibanarii for Early, Trebizond Cataphract Archers for Med1212).

Gameplay changes:
- Now you can run down troops and their casualities will be counted to ck3.
- You can now “Concede Defeat“, instead of fighting the whole battle.
- Battle maps size reduzed by 25%.
Bugs fixed:
- Battles with no commander on the platyer side caused error, now it’s disabled to fight battles without a commander on your side.
- ”Ruler leading army” modifier not giving xp on attila, now it works.
- Child characters aging to 16yo when you start a battle.
Interface changes:
- Attila battle menu background changed.
Unit mappers changes:
- Added compatibility to add battle maps to battles by a .xml file.
- You can now have multiple cultures and factions files in a unit mapper folder. This is good to organize the added maa/cultures by other ck3 mods.
- Now you can also add numbers instead “INFANTRY“,etc, keys, in the max attribute for the men-at-arms nodes.

V0.9.7 Pre-Beta”Prepare the defenses”

New features:
- Defensive Deployables, the defending side of a battle will now get deployables like stakes, ditches and caltrops. The quantity of them depends on the size of the army, and the quality of them depends on the commander martial skills (supplies will also affect this on beta release).
- Reworked Terrain System, every battle map should be super precise to the terrain is being fought on. The deployments zones of each army are now dynamic according to the battle terrain, meaning if you are defending in the hills, your deployment zone will on top of the hill and enemy one downhill. Added “Strait Crossing” battles maps.
- Reworked Weather System, each season ( summer, winter, fall, spring) has way more accurate weathers atmospheres, plus holdings affected by winter, have way more precise winter atmospheres acording to severity.
- Play with all characters! You now have the ability to fight with any character you want, check “Preferences” on CW battle options to choose which group of characters can fight battles. Important note: You have to reselect your option on the characters menu everytime ck3 opens, otherwise it will be the default one.
- New 15th-Century Unit Mapper, a new unit mapper for Medieval Kingoms 1212AD 15th century units.
- Historical Battle Maps, if you fight in a holding that contains one of these special buildings: “Pyramides of Giza”, “Stonehenge”, “Hadrian Wall’s”. You will fight in battle maps with those special buildings presents. More will be added…
New small features:
- The commander name and realm name, are now shown on the attila battle loading screen.
- Characters that die in Attila, now can also get “One-Legged”, “One-Eyed” & “Disfigured”.
- Some battle modifiers now gives armies xp bonuses or penalties. “Leading own units” gives 1XP, “Realm in debt” reduzes 1XP, “Low Supplies” reduzes 1XP, “Out of Supplies” reduzes 2XP and “Attacking a Strait” reduzes 2XP.
Better user experience:
- The number of soldiers inside each unit is now perfectly distributed, instead of filling units to max and the rest stayed on a tiny unit.
- Improved errors catching, now if you get errors, you don’t need to restart the mod but simply try again.
- Added a message box when Attila launcher opens saying which mods you need to activate for the loaded Unit Mapper.
- You now don’t need to load Unit Mappers by time period, but simply choosing one and it will use that one forever. If you want to load Unit Mappers by time period, you need to enable multiple that have a continuation of years.
- Rewritten text on the “About” tab on the CW battle options.
Improved compatiblity:
- Traits mods and ck3 updates will never bug the wounded traits distribution ever again. You can use any mod that add traits now.
- You can now play with “obfusCKate -Hidden Information”mod, make sure the Crusader Wars is below this mod.
- Now total conversion mods don’t cause fatal errors.
- Added “Culture Expanded” cultures and heritages compatibility for official Crusader Wars unit mappers.
Fixed bugs:
- Fixed bug where the mod the would ask to update without internet connection.
- Fixed bug where scalling battles didn’t worked.
- Fixed bug where battles with multiple armies would not get some men-at-arms in Attila.
- Fixed bug where some characters that fallen in battle, didn’t get wounded traits.
- Fixed bug forever where wounded traits would be disease traits or another.
- Fixed bug where retinues men-at-arms xp would crash attila.
- A bunch of minor bugs fixed.
